Hurricanes edge Colts 1–0 at Jubilee Park
U13 Hurricanes took all three points at Jubilee Park, beating Marlow Colts 1–0 in a close contest that was settled by an early goal.
The Hurricanes got their noses in front in the 4th minute, though the scorer is not named in our records. That was the only goal of the afternoon, and it was enough to carry the home side through to the final whistle at 60 minutes.
The coach was pleased with how the boys handled a game that was never easy. Charlie played well in the first half, which brought a bit of a challenge, but he did a good job. The second half was a bit more of a challenge again, but James pulled it out of the bag, and the coach reckoned the Hurricanes had a good second half in the end.
A narrow win, then, and one built on holding firm when the match asked more of them. Well done to everyone in the squad.
