Another close one
U12 Hawks got their noses in front early at Jubilee Park, with Miles finding the net after 14 minutes. They doubled their lead through Noah on 31 minutes, giving the home side a healthy cushion going into the second half.
Jonah picked up a yellow card in first-half stoppage time, on 40 minutes, but it didn't disrupt the Hawks' rhythm. Miles added his second of the afternoon, and the team's third, on 52 minutes to put daylight between the two sides.
Wargrave Rangers pulled one back before the final whistle, but it wasn't enough to trouble the scoreline. Full time came with U12 Hawks running out 3–1 winners, in what the coach called another close one.
