Refunds and returns
How to change your mind, send something back or give up a place with Millbrook Athletic FC— and what the law gives you whatever the club’s own policy says.
Things you buy — kit, shirts, merchandise
Change your mind within 14 days of it arriving for a full refund and the club covers the postage back; anything faulty is always put right.
You always have at least 14and another 14 days to get it back to the club (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). The club covers the cost of getting it back to them.
If something is faulty, not as described or not fit for what it is for, you can reject it and have the money back within 30 days (Consumer Rights Act 2015). After that the club will repair or replace it, and refund you if that cannot be done.
Anything made or printed to order — a shirt with a name on it — cannot be sent back just because you have changed your mind. It is still covered if it is faulty.
Places you book — events, camps, courses
Cancel up to 48 hours before it starts for a full refund.
If the club calls something off, everyone who paid gets the full amount back — you do not need to ask.
Dated activities sit outside the 14-day cooling-off period in law, so the club’s own policy above is what applies.
Subscriptions, session fees and donations
Change your mind within 14 days for a full refund; after that the club can refund the part of the season you have not used.
If a session is called off you get the money back — as club credit or a refund, your choice.
Donations are gifts, so they can't normally be refunded — the club will help if something has gone wrong.
How to ask, and how long it takes
Open the club app, go to Money, tap the thing you paid for and choose what you want to do. Everything happens from there — there is nobody to email.
A refund goes back to the way you paid, and the club has 14 days from being told (or from the goods coming back, whichever is earlier) to pay it. Cards usually show it within 5–10 working days.
You can ask for club credit instead if you would rather — it comes off your next bill. That is always your choice, never the club’s.
If the club says no, they have to tell you why in words you can read. Their answer does not take away any right you have in law.
Nothing on this page takes away a right you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Millbrook Athletic FC sells to you directly; ClubTitan provides the software the club uses.
