Cookie policy

Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. We keep ours to a minimum, and you are in control of everything that isn't strictly necessary.

The three categories

• Necessary— sign-in, security and remembering your choices. The site can't work without these, so they're always on and don't need consent.
• Analytics— anonymous measurement of what's working (for example, which pages are slow), so we can improve. No advertising, no selling.
• Marketing — used only if you allow it, to make offers and measurement relevant. Off by default in the UK and EU.

Your choice, by region

In the UK and EU, analytics and marketing cookies are off until you turn them on — and rejecting them is exactly as easy as accepting. In the US, they may run by default and you can opt out at any time. When we can't tell where you are, we apply the stricter UK/EU model.

Changing your mind

Your choice is stored for a year in a single first-party cookie (and, if you're signed in, recorded so you have a durable record). You can change it any time from the cookie banner — clearing the choice brings the banner back — and we re-ask if this policy changes materially.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use cookies to track you across other companies' sites. Children are never profiled for advertising.
